In the past few months I have realized that:
· The main goal of IWeb was to have a unified entry point for web services
· People could create and share IWeb extensions that would go into this unified entry point
That hasn’t happened. A lot of people have used IWeb but it was apparently just for the sample code, IWeb as a project simply hasn’t had one contributor in nearly a year.
Therefore I’m not so excited about making a proposal to the Core. I will leave the code out there and if anyone wants to contribute toward it the project will live on, but perhaps it should just stay that way?
Also WCF will probably change things when DotNetNuke moves to .Net 3.5.
